The Hannibal fandom is actually really, really good with mental illness? I've been in the Sherlock fandom and the way they treated sociopathy and similar illnesses really bugged the fuck out of me. The worst thing that I've seen in the Hannibal fandom is actually a quote from the show that's been put on some edits, but other than that, mental illness is typically treated with a lot of respect. [Did that make sense--]

I’m sorry I didn’t answer you but I was gone for most of the day.  That’s good that she went quiet for you, and its even better that you were polite about it. Parents are usually more open to requests as long as you aren't rude about it. I know I am at least, if my kids, or their friends or my nieces or nephews ask me for something nicely, its hard for me to say no lol
