This weekend, with the auction and other events going on around town, AJ didn’t have to worry too much about meals. Just down the beach there were bonfires lit day and night with volunteers and other residents milling about to gossip about the basket auction and the see the little dogs and cats who would later benefit from it. He brought fish he caught earlier in the day to one of the bonfires and someone offered to cook the fish for them. When the sun went down, the s’mores came out and were passed around the bonfire as people continued to gossip. “You’ve got a little chocolate right there.,” AJ pointed to the corner of his own mouth and rolled his eyes. “Did you want some marshmallows to go with it or are you content to steal all the chocolate?”
