Now that I have Britbox, I'm getting to do something I've wanted to do for a long time - watch Doctor Who, from the very beginning. And let me tell you, what a ride it is! It's cheesy and overdramatic and often there are bits where the actors forget or stumble over their lines and it got left in, and I. Love. It.

Can't get over Susan though. Having heard so much about her, she'd gained this kind of mythological standing in my mind - the Doctor's granddaughter, a fellow Time Lord!

Then girlfriend goes and says the Aztecs were Mexican even though they were the indigenous people of a land that was not yet Mexico, calls their petroglyphs "cartoons," makes fun of the way an alien species runs, and screams and cries at the drop of a hat. And she is quite honestly the most overdramatic part of the show.
