Phenomenal! Very interesting to see such a thorough exploration of a particular setting that has such a unique opportunity to explore the familiarity in the context of celebrity, so that it becomes effectively a film of demystification of that celebrity. Alfred Molina pitching the movie in a fervor of excitement while Steve Coogan looks at him like he's a maniac. The whole theater going silent, straining to hear the Mahler drifting in. Cate Blanchett making herself uncomfortable. A hundred moments like this, aesthetically aligned, all contemplative, sarcastic, comfortable, but distinct enough to make this a pretty much perfect anthological piece.
