He's not exactly a Psychonauts OC, but one of my characters, King, is an anthropomorphic toilet paper roll who works at a cafe as a barista(the barista thing was inspired by one of ColeyDoesThings videos on OCs, though I can't remember which one.

I have to go with William on this one. He's the kind of person who can (and will) make friends with anyone.

William's not the kind to go to a cafe/coffee place for himself, but he does often go on food/drink runs for his friends & coworkers. This would probably be how they meet.

And of course, if William is there so is Aiden, William's best friend/interpreter. Aiden is a bit harder to make friends with due to slight social anxiety, so he'd mostly be there acting as an interpreter.

Note: William is deaf & nonverbal, communicating with ASL & mind reading. This is why he has an interpreter.

Since you asked~

William was originally created waaay back in 2016, for the show Wander Over Yonder... which is why he's an eyeball guy.

But I've wanted to redesign him (and the rest of my ocs from that show) for Psychonauts. I did give it a very rough attempt earlier this year:

And... Oh! And after finding that post, I realized that you're the one who made the card templates.

Anyway, some quick info on him:

Born deaf

Communicates with others by reading their minds

Or communicates through his best friend/interpreter Aiden with ASL

He's a fairly happy & outgoing person who makes friends easily

Kind of joined the Psychonauts on a whim (he's quite impulsive)

Great with animals, especially small ones

Decades after having photos from their same-sex Philly-area ceremony confiscated, a search is on for the owners of a historic set of prints.

In 1957, a young man went to a photo shop on the corner of North Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue to have his wedding photos developed. The photos captured the usual moments: the exchange of rings in front of witnesses, the first kiss and dance, the cutting of the cake and the opening of gifts.

But the young man would never see them. That’s because the photos depict him in a commitment ceremony with another man, and unbeknownst to him, the store manager had a policy of withholding developed photos if he deemed them “inappropriate”—as he did these.

The photos, though, lived on because the manager of the shop had another policy: Staff were allowed to do whatever they pleased with confiscated pictures. An employee held on to the photos, which her daughter discovered in her Cherry Hill home 60 years later, after she passed.
