I'm here to give my perspective on the "William Afton was a cannibal" debate (which I didn’t realize was a theory until recently). I actually didn’t eat meat at all after '83. I don't know, something about scraping your own child's brains out of the jaws of a machine you helped to create really makes one lose their appetite. Who knew. It was only *eating* meat though, I had no problems with dismembering other children (a very frequent occurance, remnant is hard to find sometimes). Funny how brains work sometimes. But yeah I did a lot of things but I didn’t eat anyone so theres that I suppose

there's not much explicitly canon about me, being from the games, so i guess the only genuine divergence i can think of would be the fact that after i got springlocked, that was it. I never became springtrap. i know my whole thing is that i "always come back" but lowk i didn't come back 😭

also i'm pretty sure my family had a dog. don't remember much abt her but im pretty sure she was a xmas gift to the boys! i guess it's never explicitly stated in canon that we never had a dog, but its certainly not hinted towards. so i think it's safe to call this canon divergent lmao

I was never a great father but I love my kids so much. They're clever and creative and I just love watching their minds work. The things that are the same, the things that are different-- they make me feel warm inside. I have to hold myself back from grinning all wide and pointing at my phone with a "that's my baby!"

I'm sure one of you will see this and I'll be embarrassed, but it's worth it to gush

My kids are the best of all time! Everyone should know! All of my kids, even kids that weren't /mine/ are mine and are the best. Vanessa, Michael, Evan (or whatever other names my other son remembers of himself), Elizabeth. All of them! They're brilliant, the epitome of perfection. They're my pride and joy, they're the parts of me worth loving. I love every one of them, even when I was, to put it lightly, not the best dad.
