Anyone remember how he was accused by multiple women of abuse and creating a literal world wide sex cult?
………..so this new album is titled “sex cult vol.1”……..no one sees how problematic this is?
Now when you Google “William control sex cult” his fucking album is the first thing to pop up.
Listen, I don’t give a fuck what you do and partake in during your own time…….SO LONG as it is not hurting or damaging others. When you’ve got others starving themselves and harming themselves just so they can gain your approval……..dude. No. Absolutely not.
And overall I am sad. I am sad for the broken girls he left in his wake to rebuild their entire sense of self. I am sad for his exwife. I am sad for his son. And I’m sad for all the people who’s had one their favorite bands ruined. I’m sad for his ex band mates….it’s telling when the people you traveled the world with and created a literal MySpace stereotype with don’t even follow you. It’s sad for people who have his lyrics tattooed on them.
I’m sad for me, who can’t even listen to a band that was HUGE in my life without it being stained by all this.
