Her phone buzzing on the nightstand surprised her. She had been asleep. It had been a late night. Xandra had been doing her best with catching everything up at the shop. She had fallen behind because she was spending a lot of time with William and Emily. Which, was amazing. The relationship between Emily and her was a work in progress. It was probably still a bit strange to her due to the fact that it had been just her and Will for so long. Now she had came into the picture.
Grabbing her phone, she opened it to see it was actually Emily. The girl had gotten accustomed to her being in Staten Island or them coming to stay in Manhattan. Her place had more than enough room for bother Enily and Will. Hell, she had even told Emily that she could have the spare room and slowly the girl had been starting to keep things at her place. She opened the message from Emily and was instantly concerned.
"Please come home, I need you" was all the message said. Weird. They didn't technically live together. She decided to call the girl to figure out what was going on. Clicking the dial button, she put the phone to her ear. Soon enough Emily answered. "Emily what is going on?" Xandra asked her concerned. "Xan I'm scared. I went out with friends and it's a party but I know if I call dad he will freak out. Please come get me and take me to your place?" Hearing the girl say she was at a party, she knew why she hadn't called her dad.
"Stay put, text me the address. I am on my way" she told the girl. She knew that Will would be mad but she also knew that he would much rather his daughter get home safely than for her to get hurt trying to get home. She was just scared of how he would react. Xandra at the moment just wanted to go and get her and bring her home. Sure, her first message didn't make much sense, but there was a slight chance that was because she was slightly intoxicated.
