"It's kind of semi-dark and I'm alone, and I'm old. But guess what, I'm tough.”
"He picked the wrong house to break into.”
"I took that table and I went to working on him.”
[Unphased, Murphy said, she used the metal legs of the table to keep hitting him.]
[After jumping on him a couple times, Murphy ran to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of baby shampoo and squirted it on the man's face as he tried to get up.]
[It didn't end there. Next, she said, she took a broom and whacked him some more.]

She hid in her house as the man walked through the house and eventually grabbed the nearest thing to her. “I picked up the table, and I went to work on him,” she said. THE TABLE.
Murphy added, “The table broke.”
“And when he’s down,” she continued, “I’m jumping on him.”
She says, once the suspect was injured, she ran and grabbed a bottle of shampoo – and started pouring it on him.
“I grabbed the shampoo,” she said. “Guess what? He’s still on the ground. In his face, all of it, the whole thing.”
“I got the broom,” she continued. “He’s pulling the broom. I’m hitting him with the broom.
”Finally, officers arrived. The man was sent to the hospital and Murphy was applauded by first responders.
