And off we go! I believe this is a replicate model of the plane the Wright Brothers flew. Enlarge the pic and zero in on the center to see the pilot. There were a number of test flights where the brothers alternated as pilot, but the 1903 flight stayed up a whopping 12 seconds with Orville at the controls. Seemed appropriate for today in terms of a gamble that transitions always are. BTW the Wrights' ✈️ always had rough bumpy landings, crashed a number of times and needed repair. Finally, "...a heavy gust picked up the Flyer and tumbled it end over end, damaging it beyond any hope of quick repair. It was never flown again." (Wikipedia: Wright Flyer). A is for... Airplane (of the paper variety). This one is covered with the answers to my Airport Test from Part 1 in #willitfly - a list of what my reality will be five years from now when my reply to "How's life?" will be "AMAZING! Life couldn't be any better." This exercise was more challenging for me than it probably should have been, but I finally got my mind and heart in the right place to do this last week. Today I got it folded into a this paper airplane, which I'll keep close by as a reminder of the life I'm working toward. #fms_Aisfor #fmsphotoaday
