LOUSTAT'S FIRST FLIGHT

A special birthday commission for one of my loveliest moots <3 Happy birthday!!!

It'd rained before. They started flying out from Nola. Lestat was in double-denim (80s!) Louis was in 19thc frockcoat, which doesn't work with show Louis. So we decided to update their looks and to include St Louis cathedral and their special bench😍🥰😘 FUN!

I also added priceless antique emerald wedding rings as Anne Rice herself had depicted in her description of Loustat's wedding.

Tricolored Heron Spreading his Wings

A young tricolored heron sets out to make his mark in the world. These birds are very common in the shallow waters of the southeast United States and tend to nest in large colonies. Both parents will feed the young until they are ready to head out on their own. This young fella looks ready to give it a go.

This picture is just an apparent off topic on my feed. Well, it's not my classic inspiration but it deals someway with elegance, classics and the romantic relationship between men, sky and speed. Elegance because you cannot avoid to say that this legend design isn't magnific. Classic because, even if not immediate, this plane has been designed between 1964 and 1966, the years Ferrari was producing the model 275 (yes they are contemporary!). Yesterday (21st of January) many years ago (1969) it flew the first flight. I want to celebrate that day with this pic of Concorde flying at Mach 2 probably to the moon. Les vols pionniers de l’aéronautique

23 SEPTEMBRE 1913 : 1ère TRAVERSEE DE LA MEDITERRANEE PAR ROLAND GARROS

En 1909, Roland Garros va assister à la « Grande semaine de l’Aviation de la Champagne » près de Reims et va y trouver sa vocation, celle de devenir aviateur.

Après avoir investi dans une Demoiselle, aéronef mis au point par Santos Dumont, Roland Garros va enchainer les apprentissages jusqu’à obtenir son brevet de pilote le 19 Juillet 1910.

A partir de-là, il va enchainer les courses, les exploits et les records jusqu’à devenir le 23 Septembre 1913, le 1erhomme à traverser la Méditerranée par les airs. 

Son vol dura 7 heures et 53 minutes à une vitesse moyenne de 101 kilomètres heure.

So my flight was delayed 40 minutes today so I did a thing... Puddle Slime’s first flight!

He’s ready to go!

Puddle made sure he read all the safety information on the plane.

Then he decided he wanted to check out how the WiFi worked. A long flight can get boring!

Naughty slime o: I found him looking at the alcohol 🤔

Oh no, he got cold 😥 time to bundle up!

Puddle enjoyed some pretzels :3 be liked them!

Then he wanted to listen to some music. Did you know he likes Coldplay? Great choice 👍🏼

Since we had time, we decided to make sure the mask fit him! Gotta keep all the nasty viruses away from us 😷

Time for take off! Puddle is buckled in and ready to go :3
