Would you be willing to give feedback on bugs from media? (Pokemon etc) even if you dont play em. Just your opinions on them design wise and stuff

I'd prefer not to just because I don't really have any interest in it myself! But I don't mind answering questions about bugs for people who are designing characters for writing or drawing their own media :)

Just saw the post where you corrected someones bee/wasp meme and my only input is, I would have mentioned how cicada killers bluff by dive bombing as their main threat display. Like someone told me they accidentally dug up a nest site because they needed the sand and that’s all they did to the person.

That's true of a lot of bugs if you disturb their nest. There's a ton of information I COULD have included in that post, it was just a quick and dirty correction.

Do you know if other species do agonal breathing? I remember one time i work i saw a fish take in a big “gasp”, went to tell an aquarist something was wrong with the fish, and when we got back it was dead.

I think most vertebrates do this.

It’s crazy when you die but people figure it out and/or avenge you. I love it when that happens, especially when it’s my bean’s dead body that led to the killer’s discovery. They’re like, “It was you, because you were last with Echo,” and I’m just like, “YEAH CREW, GET ‘EM! ILY WHOO!”

Do you have any idea why my cat suddenly seems to refuse to use his fountain? Is used to catch him drinking from it all the time but it seems now he only wants to drink from the faucet and the bathtub. I’ve cleaned it too in case that was the issue and he still seems to be being picky.

No idea, but the first thing to do is rule out medical causes for any sudden change in behaviour in the absence of a new, stressful situation.

How common is it for shelters to be ok with foster to adopt? I want another cat once I move to a bigger place but my current cat didn’t get along with my moms cat before I moved out so I’m worried he might issues with another cat and would like to basically do test runs. Plus I don’t think he ever properly learned bite control and such, which I know a friend would help with.

I think most shelters would be okay with that, depending. If you are fostering with intent to adopt, and the first cat doesn’t work out, they probably won’t be happy with you requesting to return *that* cat and get a *different* foster. They’d want you to keep that first foster until it found a different home.

How are people sending their pets pics? I wanna share my fluffy idiot son and his glorious heterochromatic eyes I rarely get good pics of.
