Had to add a couple more photos of my dumb kitty Willow, because I definitely don’t post enough. The second photo regularly reduces me to tears... 😂 #Willowkitty #secondfurchild #dumbcatsofinstagram

This cat has made my weekend, he's so cheeky and downright naughty. Today he showed us how he likes to drink from the bathroom sink with that super serious face 😹 #willowkitty #petsitting
This cat will not hold still for pictures.
Late selfie Sunday. Willow and Willow simkitty. <3
Willow Kitten!
So, Last week I told my friend Alex (allthewinglessangels) that I would get her a kitten for Christmas because she's wanted a cat for a good long while. So Wednesday we went to our local Animal Shelter (*which, by the way, has a 70% kill rate. Despicable.) to rescue a kitten. They have rooms of cats in little cabinets with very little room and they are almost never played with. The C room had a cat that was free and unsupervised, which was strange, so I sat with her and was petting her and stuff. The woman who ran the cat section of the shelter came in and said, "Oh, I see you met Ashes." Turns out that this kitten was owned by a young girl until today when her landlord suddenly changed his mind about her having a cat, even though he'd agreed to the idea initially. She said that the poor girl was sobbing when she'd left. I was thinking about Ashes all the next day among other cats that were there and returned that day (Thursday afternoon) to pick up the kitten that Alex picked out. Unfortunately for us, but fortunately for the kitten, she'd already been picked up by other adopters, so Alex went to look around for another kitten. While she did this, I stopped by the C room again. Ashes was still there and she recognized me and started meowing. Alex picked out her kitten, Storm, and we went to pay for her and I just couldn't leave Ashes there. Even though I already have so many animals, I couldn't bring myself to just let this poor cat down. She wasn't a street cat. She was someone's pet. She was meant to be someone's pet, so now she's mine. I'm picking her up today. :) I've decided to rename her Willow and I will be posting pictures from my phone later tonight. :)
