AITA for confronting my blind date after he stood me up… while he was on a date at the next table?

So I [25F] was set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. I’m not super into dating apps, so I figured, why not?

He is [27M] about 5'10-5'11 tall, fit, had cute accent and dimples, lives in Monte Carlo and works in motorsport. We talked on chats and calls for two weeks before scheduling a date.

We agreed to meet at a rooftop restaurant overlooking Port Hercule. I dressed up in a stunning yellow dress, arrived at 7PM sharp. Waited. No call. No text. Just air.

After 40 minutes of feeling like a fool sipping sparkling water, I noticed a guy two tables down… who looked exactly like him. IT WAS HIM. And guess what? He was on a date.

I lost it. I walked over and said, “Hey [let's call him Chuck] Chuck didn’t know you were double-booking tonight.” The girl looked stunned. I gave her the full rundown. She LEFT.

Now him and the friend who set us up along with some of our other mutuals are calling me a bitch for overreacting and that I ‘humiliated him in public.’

But like… I was stood up and that dumbass had the audacity to dine 10 feet away with another girl.

AITA for being annoyed my client/host threw my only mirror out of a window?

I (22M) am a solicitor and currently staying at a client’s castle in Transylvania. As I was shaving this morning my client (??M) grabbed my mirror, got mad at me for bleeding, called the mirror a “foul bauble of man’s vanity” and threw it out of the castle window. I was annoyed and was going to say something but then I noticed he was making my bed even though he says he has servants(?? I have yet to see one)

Edit: is it strange that I didn’t see his reflection in the mirror??

AITA for attempting to dethrone a seemingly incompetent ruler?

This... requires some backstory. I was (and for the time being, still am) in a high-ranking position of power next to the Queen of our kingdom. For legal/safety reasons I'll keep details vague, but long story short our kingdom took a massive hit from the DF War. It's still struggling to recover while other places with less heavy losses have managed to bounce back. So, you'd think, now that a certain someone has returned to cause even more problems, the number one priority should be restoring our home back to how it was and protecting it. And that's sort of what our Queen did? But not really.

Again, keeping it vague, but she essentially placed the kingdom and everyone in it in stasis - indefinitely. To preserve, yes, but as far as I'm aware she intended on keeping it like this for good. Which - I don't need to elaborate on how existentially terrifying that is, but she kept this fact a secret from the entire population (save for me and two others she trusts with that information).

I understand her hesitance to let go of what was lost. Sure. But there is so much still at stake - and it wasn't like there was no other option but to keep us stuck there, stagnating in some illusion of grandeur. I was constantly presenting my own ideas - as patiently as I was able - of how to expand our kingdom's defences etc., and she might entertain one for every five she shot down. Eventually one has to say enough is enough!

But I maybe went a little too far with how to deal with her.

Food for thought: how do you deal with someone in charge who shouldn't be? Especially when everyone else seems to worship the very ground she walks on? One might answer - by taking the source of their power. Whatever it is, that's the first and crucial step to deconstructing their regime. I think this is a sensible enough line of logic. And, yes, maybe not everyone agreed with my methods, even the handful that did agree our Queen needed dealing with (I did try to recruit a close friend to my cause under the impression she shared my view, which... was a mistake).

Anyway, now I've had a lot of time alone to think, and I'm coming to the realisation that when I'm given the amount of power the Queen has, and left to my own devices... I flip out a little. Which is MAYBE an indication I went about this the wrong way.

So I ask you, whoever you are - looking at this with fresh eyes - AITA?
