Where is my PottermoreFamily from?
Ever since the Pottermore Magical Quill challenge ended, I was wondering how I would satisfy all my pent up excitement about Pottermore and Harry Potter. And so, I decided to create a Twitter account dedicated to Pottermore, and to my surprise, I was not the first person to come up with this idea. In just about three days, I was able to find my fellow Pottermore Beta testers on Twitter, and after about a week I still continue to meet more of them, and I can now proudly say that I have found my PottermoreFamily.
And just like everyone else, I wanted to get to know more about my new family. This is why i started asking my PottermoreFamily about where they are from, which allowed me to come up with this list.
If you're part of the PottermoreFamily but don't see your name in this list, feel free to tweet me (WillowNight27) or just leave a message here. If I you are on the list but I got your location wrong, then you know how to contact me. ^_^
I love my PottermoreFamily!

How It All Began
Barney and Friends. Sesame Street. The Muppets. The Smurfs. My Little Pony. Care Bears. Captain America. Power Rangers. Jem. Snow White. Aladdin. Sleeping Beauty. Cinderella. Beauty and the Beast. The Little Mermaid.
How would a little girl grow to love reading when she’s surrounded by this much animation that is full of color and offers a wonderful range of stories?
But curious little girls would always give new things a try, which is how one little girl gave reading a try with books like The Berenstain Bears, Goosebumps, The Baby-sitters Club, Sweet Valley Series, and Nancy Drew. She was amazed by how it was much more exciting to use her own imagination when picturing the people and places described in these books, than to have it all done for you by some artist or actors on a show. But as her love for reading grew, so did she, until one day she was not so little anymore. Soon enough, she outgrew the books she had loved and found that other books for girls her age did not interest her as much. They were all about love and romance, which she was not that concerned about at the moment. After a few dead ends and empty searches, she started to believe that she would never again be able to find another book that would feed her imagination with pictures of new people and places. And so, our not-so-little girl started to feel lost.
Until one day, another not-so-little girl came along with a book in her hands, which she offered to lend to our lost girl. But after trying out other books and ending up disappointed, our lost girl was skeptical and tried to refuse. But the other girl insisted and said, “Just give it a try. If you still don’t like it then you can just return it to me.” And so, while our girl was still lost, she was still as curious as when she was little, so she agreed and took the book home with her. As the other girl walked away, our lost little girl glanced down at the book she was holding. On the cover there was a boy flying on a broomstick and above him was the title Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
And that evening, when our lost and not-so-little girl opened the book to read the first words, a new adventure began. So while she still remained to be the not-so-little girl anymore, this time she was no longer lost for she had found a new set of people and places to discover. And up to this day, when she is no longer a girl but a woman, she still finds herself opening that first book, and the six that followed after, thankful for her own curious mind and glad that she took the advice of that other girl who told her to “Just give it a try.”
