In Waiting

Rin slips the new shirt over his head and the cloth sticks to the still clammy skin of his back. They just finished training at the gym and after a shower, he’s getting dressed to meet Haru and the others for... whatever they wanted to do. Gou’s pleading voice made a very convincing case even without her status as an Alpha backing it up. 

“Are you coming along or not?” He pulls his hair back into a ponytail and looks up at Sousuke sprawled out in only his sweats on the top bunk, apparently too lazy to even bother to get dressed properly.

The Pretty Stowaway

A hand roughly grabs his hair and drags him unceremoniously out of his hiding place by it. It hurts, and a pained sound escapes him, but his assailant only laughs and keeps pulling him along.

Shit, is pretty much all Rin can think as he's dragged up a flight of stairs. He trips and bumps his knee against the steps, only to be pulled up again until they reach the top and pushed through a door.

Bright sunlight hits his face before he's shoved onto the hard wooden floor and his palms split open where he uses them to catch himself from the fall.

"We found this one hidin', Capt'n."

How to Date a Meralien

Rin looks up from the menu he was pretending to study, trying to covertly scan the room.

He had know what he was going to order before he even entered the place, the same thing as yesterday and the day before. The same thing he ordered ever since he found the place a week ago. The food wasn't his real objective.

Not that he could spot the reason he spent his lunch breaks at the other end of town instead of the burger place just a short walk from the station. Maybe he wasn't on shift today?

Rin makes a face, feeling dejected, when a hand touches his shoulder and he lets the menu drop onto the table with a thud.
