Zwei Tage im Flinders Ranges Nationalpark

Zuerst eine Wanderung zum Mt Remarkable in den Southern Ranges, und am nächsten Tag eine Tour im Wilpena Pound, der aus der Luft wie ein Amphitheater aussieht. Da ich die Form des Wilpena Pound sehr schön finde, ihn aber nicht aus der Vogelperspektive - nur von innen, sozusagen - gesehen habe, hier auch ein Bild aus dem Internet. Die anderen sind bei unseren Touren entstanden, insgesamt eine atemberaubende Szenerie, mit intensivem Licht und leuchtenden Farben, und nicht zuletzt eine der ältesten Landschaften der Erde.

Flinders Ranges has been an awesome experience with so many highlights of nature and natural beauty it's hard to choose the best. Seeing so many different makes, models, sizes and colours of Kangaroo and wallaby in such a small area was very special. The beautiful rock formations were amazing. We struck a very hot few days with the temperature peaking at 39C. I confess we turned on the generator at the bush camp and cooled things down. During the night the wind changed, thunder and lightning and rain. In the morning the birds were using the moisture on our roof for a bird bath. And we heard a kookaburra laughing at us last night. We haven't heard them for a few weeks. #kangaroo #wilpenapound #eidlewise #travelnzopenspaces #365 #kiwigreynomads #adventureprestige (at Flinders Ranges)
