I took too many hits off this memory I need to come down 🧡💀🌺 . . so I was able to finish this today! This was obviously influenced by fobs James Corden performance last week where they wore glow in the dark face paint and preformed Hold Me Tight as skeletons 🧡 the flowers in the background are inspired by two things: Bloom & the Day of The Dead flower aesthetics I’ve created in my brain because of the video for HMTOD, the colors are pastel and cooler because I thought that wouldn’t make them take away from patrick. This is the first thing I’ve been able to REALLY draw from my down week (last week) and I still have a lot of ideas but I’m lacking motivation to execute them. Hopefully ill start feeling better soon (even though I haven’t been “lacking” on artwork recently because the last thing I worked on was the “project” in January but I feel like I haven’t been drawing detailed things enough recently, so I’m gonna work on that a bit more! Sorry for the rant ~ .

Champagne and problems 🥂 toast I’ll never solve them, oh I think I woke up on the wrong side of paradise ☀️🌊 . . This was inspired by some of my favorite flowers, lilacs (which are patricks favorite too) and sunflowers, and a daffodil for spring-y effect. I drew this over break when like everyone was in Florida and I’m like “hey there, soon to be tan folk, I’m going somewhere at least 5-10 degrees colder than where I’m normally at, but there’s no place I’d rather be.” So the meaning behind this kind of changed because there was a good week in between me sketching it and coloring it but I’m happier with what it is now than what it was supposed to be. .

The pills are kicking in 🌅~ . Ahhh okay so first page in my new sketchbook is done, I’ve been working on this over the course of the past three days. Let me tell you, blending cool to warm colors is not easy, which is the reason why it never looks good when I attempt to do it - but I still do \/*^*\/. I also can’t draw clouds, but like I wanna get better at landscapes/scenery/backgrounds this year so I’m gonna try to work on that!
