What's your favorite thing about gaulpol?
Cernunnos. duh.
no, but really. also, i really love how chill the deities are. i have had very brief experiences with deities from other pantheons (i’ll exclude Apollon from this list, we are on great terms right now.) and they sometimes demanded very specific things and would be upset if i didn’t do what i was asked right away. The gods and goddesses in the Gaulish pantheon are just really chill. Those I’ve had the pleasure of interacting have always urged me to care for myself first and they are ‘satisfied’ with very little things.
though, my favorite thing would be that it feels like home. i don’t know if this makes sense but no matter how fucked up my day was or how shitty i feel, i shoot quick prayers and write down praises here and there; just thinking about it really; it makes me feel very peaceful and calm and happy. Knowing that I am accepted without being judged for who I am is amazing. Because I’ve never really had that. I’m not a very big fan of myself and I always judge myself for even the most ridiculous things, but being a Gaulish polytheist and worshipping the deities I worship has taught me so much, and helped me grow and realize the potential I have.
also i really like our small community. i don’t know many Gaulish polytheists but those i know are very helpful and are great people in general. so shout out to all my Gaulish polytheists out there. come be my friend. thank you.
