My Daily Morning Rituals
5AM

I start my morning at 5am A lot of people think that i’m crazy and/or insane but, I want to get up earlier in order to get the stuff that I love to do done before my day actually begins. There isn’t anything worse than either pushing that snooze button, laying in bed until 12 or being late for work. I know as this was me before my life changed dramatically for the better. Those days are long gone and I’m only 30 years old but it took me over 3 years to get where I am now.

MAKE THE BED

As soon as I get out of bed the first thing I do is make my bed, this is pretty obvious to a lot of you, and it may not make any sense why i’m even mentioning it now. For those who don’t make their bed’s in the morning, think of it this way, everybody has a spare 2 minuets of their time, so put that 2 minuets to great use and make that bed. The truth to me personally is; if you wake up early and go to work with you’re bed unmade you return to unsatisfactory, but if you return home to a made bed, you feel that sense of achievement.
(Success comes from accomplishing a simple task that will form into a habit and a positive momentum.)

HYDRATION

After making my bed I will go to my kitchen and drink a tall glass of Fresh Orange Juice and a tall glass of Water to have my supplements with, which are Halo Beauty Brain & Body Boosters. Everybody dehydrates while they sleep so the most important thing you can do is drink that water was soon as you wake up. You may not think it makes any difference but if you give this one a try, you will notice all sorts of good things happening. Not only by feeling how healthy you are but you’re body on the inside and out will love you back for it. The Orange Juice in the morning, evening and night routines have become an essential part of my well-being. the reason is Fresh Orange Juice is obviously from a fruit, and when you drink fruit juices like this, well you know what happens there, it also tastes really refreshing and tasty.
While I drink my tall glass of water I stand and breath in the morning air, I like to then check and document my heart rate from my Apple iWatch

MEDITATION

I use the Insight Timer App on my iPad Pro, On the Insight Timer App you can choose how long you wish to Meditate for, which is perfect for me as in the mornings that i’m due at work, I sometimes do 5 or 10 minuets and the days when i’m not at work I Meditate for 10 to 15 minuets. The Insight Timer App is excellent because it features over 27,000 free guided Meditations and over 4,700 Meditating Teachers.

COLD SHOWER

A lot of people have warm or hot shower in the morning after waking up or at night before they go to bed and wouldn’t even contemplate trying it if you mentioned it. I once came across this method from Matt D’Avella on his YouTube Channel called “I Took Cold Showers For 30 Days”. Matt has also done other Challenges but my favourites are “What I Learned By Journaling For 30 Days”, “I Woke Up At 5am For 30 Days” and “Simple Steps To Financial Freedom”.
After trying my own Cold Showers Challenge for 30 days in the beginning just like Matt did, I did some research and came across Wim Hoff, also known as the Iceman. He’s a Guinness World Record holder and known for his ability to withstand freezing temperatures, after doing my research and finding out the benefits of the Cold Shower’s I decided to keep it going and a few years later i’m still doing them.

DEDTOX

After the Cold Shower I will make my Brain CoffeeTox, CoffeeTox is from the same company BooTea that created The TeaTox. JOURNALING

While I drink my CoffeeTox I will write in my Journal for the morning, “The Best 3 Things I Want To Achieve For Work” and “The Best 3 Things I Want To Achieve Personally”. I also write down my To Feel List. Journaling has became my go to ever since I started using it, it has helped me to become more motivated by adding in my own quotes, pay off existing debt with trackers, helps me to focus on my dreams for potential future work and helped me with my current work by adding in my shifts. I have also planned out holidays in my Journal and even documented my expenses and savings. I think everybody should have one of these as it will change you’re life. I do believe that if we write down what we “need to feel” as apposed to “wishing” or “hoping to feel”, it may not happen right away or at all, I also believe that if you write down the words “I wish to feel” or “i’m hoping to feel”, you’re not being honest with yourself, you don’t trust yourself to make that change. It doesn’t seem authentic like you want to change you’re feelings. Make it a Challenge, for example: “I need to feel happy, talkative, to have a positive mindset”, Or whatever you’re To Feel List consists of every day for 30 days.
I also create a To Be List, who do I want to be today? this list may be better as a long term goal, for some this could could be a daily goal. Everybody is difference in what age we are, where we live, where we’ve come from, what job we have. So make those lists personal to you.

I do about 20 to 30 minuets of reading, this might listening to an Audio Book from Audible, at the moment my favourites are “Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind” - T Harv. Eker and “The Best Of Les Brown” - Les Brown. Or I will read a Newspaper. I like to reflect on what’s happening around me

BRAIN TRAINING

I’ll first grab a Naked Green Machine Smoothie and focus on my Brain Training, I use the website Kwik Learning to learn how to Read faster, Work smarter and Think better, all by the man that invented it, Jim Kwik.
