21-year-old Toni Breidinger became the first Arab-American woman to compete in a national NASCAR series at Daytona last weekend. She finished 18th in ARCA Series' Lucas Oil 200.
Toni started karting when she was nine years old together with her twin sister. She has the most wins for a female driver in United States Auto Club history and finished fourth in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series last year.
In 2021, Toni will compete in both the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Sabine Kehm, former German journalist, has been the manager of two of the racing drivers in the Schumacher family (Michael and Mick) for over twenty years now.
Sabine started working for Michael in 2000. When he left F1 in 2006, Sabine became the head communications officer for Ferrari in Central- and East-Europe, but has stayed on Michael's side during his comeback to the sport.
Sabine also manages Mick. She played an integral role in Mick's junior career and in securing him a seat at Haas for 2021.
Today's Women in Motorsport Wednesday shoutout is Emma Kimiläinen.
When Emma started single seater racing in Formula Ford in 2005 she won many rookie awards. She was backed by Audi in 2008 and took a hiatus for a few years after 2009, after those horrible talks with an Indy Lights team we all read about yesterday.
She returned to racing in Scandinavia in 2014. In 2019 she finished 5th in the W Series Championship, with 1 win, even though she missed two rounds.
Emma wil return to the W Series in 2021.
Cristina Gutiérrez is one of X44's Extreme E drivers.
The rally driver started racing at just four years old and became the Spanish All Terrain Championship vice-champion in 2015.
Cristina has finished the Dakar rally four times and this year became the first woman since Jutta Kleinschmidt in 2005 to win a Dakar stage.
She will be driving alongside Sébastien Loeb for X44 this season and we can expect great things from the pair.
Sacha Woodward Hill is F1's General Counsel and is a member of the Board of Directors of this sport.
Woodward Hill has worked in F1 since 1996. She joined as one of F1's lawyers and later became the chief legal officer. She oversees all of Formula One's legal functions.
Back in 2014, Bernie Ecclestone suggested Woodward Hill could succeed him in leading F1. While that didn't work out, it is evidence of her great achievements.
