should I watch shadow hunters? I haven't read any of the books. will it affect my understanding of the show?
Yes, you definitely should! You can find my opinion of the show (and why you should watch it) here if you’re interested.
Reading the books won’t affect your understanding since they chop and change things quite a lot (so even I, someone who has read the books, don’t always know whats coming) but I think it works really well that way. That being said, reading the books mean you catch all the little references and lines they through in for the book fans which is always fun. ;)
I don't know how to make the flower thingy so letting you know that I am her for the blogrates... The Shiva Trilogy by Amish is really good book... While the first and second books are amazing and seemingly faultless the third one was fine.

Emily, samifer. Lucifer and Sams first fight is rather silly actually. He was supposed to meet his angel for this awesome dinner Lucifer managed to cook alllllll by himself. Yes, its just a cheeseburger, because Castiel said they make people happy, but still he's excited to give it to Sam. Sam loves it, its perfect, and it reminds him of Dean's cooking and he may have accidentally blurted out ow Dean's an awesome cook and makes the best burgers on earth.
