lolololol YES mini story time ahead. when i was like 4 or 5 my family and i went to ikea for the first time, and at the checkout there was this basket of throw pillows. and i saw a yellow one with two chickens on them, and that pillow called to my soul i swear. like i saw this pillow and something awakened in me. it was like 3 bucks so my mom was like what the hell sure youāre 4 years old iāll get you a chicken pillow.

Well, I actually DO have a part two to BMB like . . . 60% written? Itās just been put on the back-burner because I hit a wall trying to finish it and have been swept into other things. Iām an extremely slow writer overall, but I do hope to finish it sometime this year! In terms of what itās about, Iāll say that Genma makes an appearance, Yamato crosses some more lines he shouldnāt, and Kakashi gets into a spot of trouble on a mission. I loved writing BMB bc mean dom Kakashi is my favorite, so weāre definitely leaning into that for the 2nd part as well. I hope this was the answer you were hoping for! :)Ā

so he grew up in konoha, and was recruited into anbu at age 13, a year after graduating the academy. he grew up largely with his fahter -- his mother died when he was 6, and his father remarried four years later to a woman named noriko, who already had four foster children. smth smth yamanakas with big families.
once noriko and her kids moved in, it was about as hectic as you could possibly imagine. minoru was the oldest and constantly on babysitting duty and he'd be like "i literally have a mission in three hours" and they'd be like "ok great we'll be back in two and a half!" and they'd be joking of course, they'd get back as soon as they were able. minoru's support system has always been pretty strong and that's something that he's carried into his own parenting.
What matters most to them right now?
