A little progress on the RP game I’m building for play one day c: One of the mechanics is class evolution rather than say dual classes or a single classes with just more talents. Windagians, the race that is played for the campaign, have different facial tats based on the job they have c: So sat down to draw out the different tats for classes!
You pick a base class (Cleric, Warrior, Doctor, Scientist, Explorer) and depending on how you play the character, stats you put into the character, triggered events, you will climb the level trees. Each class has special abilities to unlock and unique playstyle that hybrid styles in interesting ways c: they also play with game mechanics, requiring players to keep an eye on a few things to get what they want.
The last set, (Justicar, Merchant, Emissary) are special classes that can ONLY be gained during gameplay by special events and hitting a story “Sweet spot” so you gotta RP hardy to see if you might trigger into those ranks. Justicar in particular is a powerhouse class...but very hard to get it to trigger!
