Just a post about Nakada Hiroki’s musical talents. He’s currently voicing Itsuki Ryoutarou in the Windboys! game. Ryoutarou is a baritone saxophonist, but Hiroki actually plays a tenor sax.

Wind Boys! - Ijeong Seomoon kizuna story 1 "Self-introduction”

I’m still trying to get a grasp on the characters! Might change it when I have a better understanding of Ijeong.

TL Note:

Annyeong is a Korean greeting.

He literally says “Let’s do tons of aoharu” at some point. Aoharu is a Japanese term to refer to youth but also carries the meaning of pinnacle of being young, the springtime of life. I turned it into “Let’s bloom lots and lots for our youth!” which is a reference to “bloom of youth”, tracing back to what aoharu means.

Yorotano is a play on yoroshiku, it has been kept as that because I feel like it’s something super unique to Ijeong and should be preserved as is.

Overall he has an unique way of speaking, which I did my best to maintain without it getting too ridiculous.

Ijeong: Annyeong♪ I’m Ijeong. I’m an exchange student that came from Korea!

Ijeong: I’m an idol in Korea but… right now I’m travelling incognito! I’ve said this already but Sensei’s gotta keep shhh, okay!

Ijeong: Eh? About my Japanese? I took lessons back in Korea. It’s totes good, right?

Ijeong: I loved Japan for a long time! Kanazawa’s like full of Japanese culture, it’s awe & some.

Ijeong: I’ve been to Kanazawa’s castle before, it was so hot! And the Kenrokuen garden next door was wonderful too.

Ijeong: Kanazawa is a lovely place, there’s various things I’d like to see. It’d make me happy dappy to go with everyone from concert club♪

Ijeong: Sensei can come along too!

Ijeong: Ah, that’s right! I’m in charge of the horn. I took lessons for my work. I started playing it for a role in a drama♪

Ijeong: I’m giving everything I got for practice together with fellow horn brothers Daisuke and Kojiro!

Ijeong: We’ll become backing demons, please look forward to it☆
