but what if like, the person on the receiving end enjoys that sort of stuff
i feel like there's a difference between wanting it done and wanting to do it. Like, indulging someone's fantasy is not the same as requiring that to be turned on/climax. like, looking around for people to sexually hurt.
do you have skype can i be your friend is that okay or
My quality blog may make me seem like a total badass, but I'm really just a creepy, socially inept loser who hasn't used Skype much recently. I wouldn't make a good Skype contact.
Do you have any recs for pad or lead softsynths?
I'm really fond of Pro-53, Absynth, and FM8 and use can use them for either. Cygnus and Korg M1: Legacy are both swell for pads and I like using StringZ2 for leads sometimes even though it sounds kinda weird.
do you have any recommended VSTs/libraries of any sort?
You know it! I don't how hard these libraries will be to find if you DDL since I got most of my stuff a year or two ago,. For brass, get ProjectSAM Orchestral Brass, Vir2 Mojo Horns, and Sample Modeling's The Trumpet and Trombone. Just get any Sample Modeling product you can find, they're one of the top virtual instrument companies out there.
For full orchestral ensembles, get Miroslav Philharmonik Classic Edition and ProjectSAM Symphobia 1 and 2. East West Colossus isn't really a good orchestral library, but it has a little of everything, like ukelele and a bunch of synth patches and it's a good place to start. CineOrch is good to have if you wanna have full orchestral tutti chords and octaves without rendering a bunch of instruments.
For guitars, Vir2 Electri6ity is a must. It's the best electric guitar virtual instrument on the market, which also means there's a lot of knobs to tweak. You're better off recording yourself playing if you have the equipment. I don't so I use this 27GB library. Vir2 Acoustic Legends HD is also essential, but it doesn't handle strumming as well as Electri6ity. Native Instruments Scarbee Funk Guitarist is good for making rhythm guitar parts. Get any of the Ilya Efimov guitars you can find. Native Instruments Jay Bass, MM Bass, Pre-Bass, Vir2 Basis, and Orange Tree Samples CoreBass Cherry Slapped are all basses you'll want to have. Wavelore makes good slide guitars if you want some.
For keyboards, I use the Best Service Galaxy family of pianos, Tonehammer Emotional Piano, Bardstown Bosendorfer Imperial Grand, SampleTekk White Sister, NI Alicia's Keys, and some of the Imperfect Samples family of pianos for high quaily grand pianos. I use the Sampletekk Rain Pian and Tonehammer Old Busted Granny Piano for upright pianos. For older and historic keyboards, I use PMI Historic Keyboards, Realsamples Italian Harpsichord Edition Beurmann, and The Blanchet 1720 Harpsichord for Kontakt. For electronic keyboards, I use Tubed Keys - Mk I Seventy-Three, NI Scarbee Clavinet Pianet, NI Scarbee Mark I, NI Scarbee A-200, and Prominy Electric Grand PCP-80.
Organs are the best. If you can, get Hauptwerk and their organs if you're serious about making great-sounding organ music on your computer. I don't have Hauptwerk so I mainly use Kontakt-converted Hauptwerk libraries like the Sonus Paradisi Forcalquier organ (the organ I used for this), the Sonus Paradisi Hruby Rohozec Pipe Organ, the St.Annes-Moseley Church Organ, and the JMH-GS organ. I also use non-Hauptwerk organs like PMI Baroque Organ, ProjectSAM Organ Mystique, Sonokinetic Carousel, Sonokinetic Toccata (the organ I used for this), and the Wavesfactory 1850 Pipe Organ. I use electric organs less, but I recommend NI Vintage Organs.
I got too many percussion libraries to mention, but look out for Addictive Drums, BFD, the NI drum kits, and EZ Drummer. Other perc libraries you should have include ProjectSAM True Strike 1 and 2, and perc library by CineSample and Tonehammer/Microhammer/8dio, East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Percussion, and VSL Horizon Series FX Percussion.
LA Scoring Strings, Gary Garritan Gofriller Solo Cello, and Garritan Stradivari Solo Violin 2.0 are my favorite string libraries so get them. OrchestraTools Orchestral Strings Run, CoreBass Pear, NI Session Strings, Kirk Hunter Pop Rock Strings, and Sonokinetic Sultan Strings are optional. Get the ProjectSAM harp, CineHarp, and Giga Harp.
I have more soft synths than anything else so ask me follow up questions about those if you wanna know about which ones I recommend.
VOXOS and Tonehammer Requiem are the best choir libraries I have so check those out.
Want accordions? Get Best Service Accordions.
Westgate Studios makes good woodwind libraries. I use mostly solo Kontakt VSL woodwinds and SoniVox Sonic Implant Woodwinds, sometimes I use EWQLSO woodwinds.
And non-western/"world" instruments are in the same with soft synths in that I have a lot and they're all way different so you'll have to send me more specific asks on what kinds you're looking for.
I hope this helps.
