The company will unveil a preview of the new version of its flagship operating system on September 30; will be completed in 2015. After several leaks, Windows 9 successor to the Microsoft operating system, will be announced September 30, according to sources close to the company cited by the specialized site The Verge.
Windows 9 To Accommodate Improved Security Features and Enhanced User Experience
It is now talk of the town that Microsoft will be releasing Windows 9 in the second or third quarter of 2015. According to a recently released internal document, the entire schedule for the forthcoming Windows 9 and Windows Phone 9 (WP8) is ready and in place to take place at the designated time. As of now, they are shown under development.
The rumors say that the cloud-based Windows 365 is also under development. Moreover, the next OS edition from Microsoft will a subscription based application. It means that the users will get the core OS for free but they will have to pay if they want to have additional features accompanied with it.
Rumors reveal that the native Windows 9 is also in the alpha stage. Along with the new OS, a number of updates will be introduced including user experience, cloud services, changes to the Metro UI, OneDrive, system protection, enhanced Windows activation, and Windows Defender.
Apart from the above mentioned, the personal assistant Cortana is also coming to the new Windows 9. The updates and newly accommodated features indicate that Microsoft is trying to address most of the grievances that was reported after the release of Windows 8. And most remarkably, the new version would probably also restore the much talked about Start Menu.
