this was supposed to be released on halloween but then i got distracted n then pastebin deleted the enrire paste but its ok bc now it falls on dabiroki reveal day so whatever anyways this old windows inspired theme has options just trust me codepen credit in code dabi art from here

re-installed Windows 10 a couple days ago, thought I might use that chance to modify it a little. still far from done but this is sure a good start
If Microsoft and communities made Windows themes for Windows 10 and 11, the Windows XP theme would mostly be the 1 popular theme that would be more nostalgic than Windows 11's controversial design state. Windows 98 would be second.

I like being able to change my system sounds on my phone. It reminds me of making Windows themes for my desktop computer and that VCR-sized Dell I had in college for a while.
I had an Evil Dead/Army of Darkness theme then. My laptop would say “YEAAAAH BABY” when I booted it up and “Groovy” when I shut it down.
