I had a request to draw Poe with his birth month flower, the carnation for January.

They seem to be particularly relevant for Poe, especially in regards to a certain someone… As they can represent ‘pure love, admiration, fascination, unpredictability, and, according to the Victorian language of flowers, often meant 'I will never forget you’. The green carnation is also a historic symbol of LGBTQ+ identity and queer defiance.

An old piece I've finally gone back and finished. Originally meant to be a companion piece to this one. I love a character with tattoos, exploring what they mean and what they can tell us about the character. And I adored that they let Mason keep their tattoos for the role of Desire in season two. Their personal collection of tattoos lend themselves beautifully to Desire. This is a little study of some of them.
