If Solomon is a major backstory concept for Jinn in the Aladdin sub-series, then are certain aspects of the Judeo-Christian Scriptures also part of the Disneyverse?
Yeah! Kinda
So we know from Elena of Avalor there's already basically Hanukkah in the Everrealm, which in how my DisneyVerse works came over from Our World due to the places/times when Our World and the Everrealm were more closely linked. So events/stories from both worlds can be referenced in the other, even though History might only be Story in one world and vice-versa.
Our World is of course a fictional version of the real world where magic actually exists and certain mythical events really took place, like Solomon binding the jinn to his bidding.
How I've imagined it is that in his attempts to bind the wicked Jinn who were causing trouble, he ended up binding Jinn across time and space (so including the Everrealm) and some of those Jinn were actually benevolent, like Genie and Eden, and just got caught up in the binding by accident.
Our World more or less follows the real world history, so Judaism/Christianity/Islam ect all do still exist. Whatever that really means cosmology I don't really touch on. There is a Greater Good out there over everything, Our World and the Everrealm to contrast the great evil that is embodied in Chernabog but that's as far as I've speculated.
(The Greater Good does have angels/angelic beings working for it, and Windwalkers are the children of those beings, in my inner DisneyVerse cosmology)

Sofia 30 Day Challenge Day 5: Favorite Magical Creature - The Windwalkers
The Windwalkers may not be the best, but they are definitely my aesthetic. The wings, the toned bodies, the formal way of speaking... They’re just the best.
I also love the clothing choices, too. They’re not directly inspired by one single thing, but they do have different aspects about them that lend an air of wisdom, tranquility and protectiveness to them. I just really love the Windwalkers. Specifically, this one.
Vega is my favorite by far. Yes, I love her aesthetic (the red and white stripes in the dark hair, the jewel at her forehead, the luscious lips and deep brown eyes; she’s almost an exact mirror of Jade from Bratz Genie Magic), but I also just love the kind of person she is.
Vega knows how to command a room and take charge of a situation. It’s no wonder she’s one of the leaders of the Protectors. She’s wise and makes decisions that benefit more than just a single person. When she made Crysta Sofia’s mentor, she and Orion agreed that someone fierce, strong, stubborn, and resilient needed to teach Sofia. However, they also made the decision to teach Crysta about her own prejudices and how to look past her bias in order to become a better protector herself. I just freaking love Vega. I wish we could’ve seen more of her, but her role was filled perfectly as it was.
It’s been a while since I wanted to draw something from La Horde du Contrevent, a really good french fantasy novel. I still want to draw some other characters from the book to experiment with line art (because wow, it’s nice to do something else than painting messy blocks of colors)
Also, I’m working on other projects from illustration to game art so I hope to post more new stuff soon!
Fan art of a character from “Windwalkers” (”La Horde du Contrevent”) a french sci-fi novel which I love dearly.
