I need to point out their are many white Texans with Indigenous blood. The only people who would have an issue with it would have an issue regardless. I just think it would be weird to bow to haters.
That's true! And even if Calian and Abby ended up together, the amount of Indigenous blood would be minimal. At most, Bonham would have about 6%, with Cordell and Liam half that at 3% (or 1/32nd). It's practically negligible in the grand scheme of things.
But you're right about the haters. Even when nothing was confirmed and there was only the idea of it happening, they were going on rants about how wrong it would be.
I can accept that Calian might end up with Abby, but I simply prefer the enemies to lovers trope with Tom and Abby. But here's what Justin had to say about the possibility of romance between Calian and Abby:
