Ok so I just realized how many OCs I have and I should probably like.. Make a masterpost for all of the reference material I have for characters I use for RP and other things, so I will slap them all below the "read more" thingy. First though, my 'Sona, Huckleberry Horse. (Yes, that is his name, no, I will not be taking suggestions for better ones.)
(Please do not forget his silly little glasses, and artist credits are, once more, @temper-temper, @askranksandfamily, and @keboponda)
Rainy, windy nights.
I miss you, more in the cloudy nights
Or even more in the rainy ones
Windy Nights...
Windy Nights
On windy nights like these I thank the Universe for being in bed Covered in blankets And wrapped in warmth.
I’m not outside Falling prey to the wind’s rage Being victim to its chill bite As I roam the streets alone.
I see the shadow of a tree Shaking in front of my window Perhaps with fear That the wind will sweep it off its roots.
The wind fears no one It just keeps going Taking everything in its way And leaving a chill where it passes.
It keeps running forward In an unstoppable fury Without much thought for whatever damage it may cause Without a care in the world.
I hear the noises of the wind rampaging outside my window “It was such a sunny day I thought we were free of the chill” I say as I lay in bed.
But I’m covered in blankets And wrapped in warmth And right now I don’t feel the chill.
I can’t even begin to remember what the chill feels like Right now I can’t bother to spare a thought for the tree shaking just outside my window For I feel cozy and warm Even as the wind threatens to tear it down.
Sometimes when I feel a disconnect with *my* life, it's helpful to just... connect with life itself yk? Go to the roof, feel the wind on my face and in my hair and remind myself that my Life with my school and my friends and my hobbies and my everything isn't all there is to existence.
Sometimes it's nice to just listen to music and watch the clouds drift against the night sky
Windy Nights
Robert Luis Stevenson
.
Whenever the moon and stars are set,
Whenever the wind is high,
All night long in the dark and wet,
A man goes riding by.
Late in the night when the fires are out,
Why does he gallop and gallop about?
Whenever the trees are crying aloud,
And ships are tossed at sea,
By, on the highway, low and loud,
By at the gallop goes he.
By at the gallop he goes, and then
By he comes back at the gallop again.
