#windy tagging

Wondering if should change a couple of tags for WIndy...

I currently use Abigail Walker, but she goes by Abby. Same with Augustus, he goes by Gus. So, do I start using Abby Walker and Gus going forward? If I do, should I go back and change all my previous tags? Or should I just stay with Abigail and Augustus?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks, anon!// - I use XKit on chrome so I can really only speak for how it works there but its SUPER helpful with things like tags. Its just an extension you add and then you can pick and choose which of the xkit extensions you want to add for your blog. Like I use tag tracking, timestamps, 'no recommended' (which hides recommended posts/blogs), but the one I use the most is 'quick tags' where you go in to xkit and add "tag bundles" which just means that you put in all the tags you use for one grouping - say for WIndy you could make a tag bundle that was "WIndy, Walker: Independence, Abigail Walker, Abby Walker, Augustus, Gus" etc. and then when you reblog or make a post there is a little tag icon and when you hover over it all your tag bundles show up and you click the one you want and it adds all the tags for you. I usually put all the tags I might use for something in a bundle and then its way easier to delete the ones you don't need on a post (say Abby isn't in a post but everyone else is, you can just easily delete her tag) vs typing them all out every time. Plus, then its always all spelled correctly/the same so you never have to worry about misspelling in tags either! If you need help or have questions I can dm you if that's easier. Or just check it out yourself and its pretty self explanatory!

This sounds great! I use Chrome so I will definitely be looking into it. (Sounds like it would be especially helpful when gifs start being posted for the new episodes.) If I have any questions, I will definitely let you know! (Likely titled xkit anon.)

With tags when I am unsure like with Abigail/Abby, Augustus/Gus, I personally tend to tag both. I sometimes can't remember which I've been using when there are more than one option so I tend to multi-tag. Obviously that's just personal preference and some people prefer to have fewer tags. Although its super easy even with a lot of tags if you use 'quick tags' on xkit. I have certain tag sets I use all the time so I have those set and its one click and they're all there, no thinking about it!
