hi, I liked your intro post! I was wondering if you had any plans to do a podcast episode on french wine, at some point? I live in France these days and enjoy wine but don't know the first thing about it, which seems a shame

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

We definitely will do an episode on french wine. We've done some smaller episodes on french grapes such as our Cabernet episode but the plan is to do a whole unit on french wine this year probably around June/July.

Tonight CD was in charge of dinner & I was in charge of the wine. Couldn't think of a better task for me! CD made a delicious sautéed chicken with paprika, accompanied by baked sweet potato & sautéed shishito peppers. Our meal was delicious and our wine was an absolute palate pleaser. The 2009 Renieri Re di Renieri Toscana is a medium to full-bodied delight. Smooth with a very nice finish. I can definitely lounge and enjoy this great find with dinner or on its own. A must try for under $50!
