Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup MERLOT wine. 1 cup dark chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the MERLOT wine until the dough is well mixed. Fold in the dark chocolate chips. Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
