The best part of the first day in Italy, a light meal on Richard and Carol’s patio, watching the sun go down over the Tyrrhenian Sea. Great end to a lovely day.
Having lunch under the walls of the castle at restaurant Ghost, a reference to a potentially haunted spot in Sermoneta. Antipasti is a type of fresh sheep's cheese drizzled with honey and sprinkled with almonds, along with a fagioli. This is followed by pasta which is three types of tagliatelle, all house made and seasonal. Of course the wine is local.
