I’m imagining Nikola watching Eurovision now help
"So, моја душа, are you going to tell me what the matter is or do I have to ply you with wine and kisses first?"
Helen sighs and shakes her head. “You don’t want to kiss me Nikola, my mouth is currently spitting fire.”
If Debra looks in Nikola's lab, she's going to find him holding a photo of a much younger version of himself with a bright, dark-haired toddler in his arms. He's not crying, nope, very definitely not ... but his eyes are glassy.
Debra comes up behind him and places a hand on the small of his back. “Do you want to talk about her?”
"I still want to marry you, you know."
“I...I’m sorry.”
He's not going to say a word to Helen when he wakes, just curl up closer to her and hold her tightly.
She’s going to curl into his arms and bury her face in his chest. “I love you, Niko.”
Nikola knows full well what day it is, but he's not going to acknowledge it quite yet; he knows how his wife hates to be doted on. He's just going to snuggle close to her when they both wake up and run his hands through her hair, bringing her in for a slow kiss.
Helen hums contentedly against her husband’s lips, and for a moment, she almost forgets. However, when she remembers, she buries her face in his chest and snuggles closer. “Niko...”
"My phone will be right by my pillow."
“I’ll miss you so much.”
