Castle Creek Winery is Utah's oldest winery, and is connected to the same research project that led to the development of the wine industry in Arizona, incidentally. But, while Sonoita Vineyards has grown, and thrived, thanks to multiple generations, Castle Creek is in the process of closing down and everyone involved is retiring. The fruit for these wines are coming from a 10 acre parcel, as well as Montezuma Canyon and vineyards in the Pallisades of Colorado. It's a shame they're closing. I made sure to grab all four bottles they had available, to secure my pieces of Utah wine history. #wine #winereview #winesofinstagram #wineofamerica #utah #utahwine #castlecreekwinery #makeamericagrapeagainpodcast #redwine (at Red Cliffs Lodge) https://www.instagram.com/p/CR1PBx9MJl6/?utm_medium=tumblr
