It had been 3 days since Valentine’s and he hadn’t noticed the flower sitting in an empty vase near his door. There were few allowed in the base, and only one, he would think, would give him a flower. Jules. The Spy slowly stole his heart in ways he didn’t realize were possible. 

It was just a little flutter of the heart strings, as the common folk said, but it still felt good. The flower would die completely soon, but as long as it was alive, he might as well keep it...
