This AU/world that I've begun creating is a dive into how humans and birds (and other flying/winged animals) anatomy can be combined, and the more realistic side of humans having wings.

Now!! Credit to @fantasy-anatomy-analyst for their posts about winged humanoids and such. Throughout this, I went to their blog for so much information, and everything is mostly because they made posts and looked into everything!!! I just took inspiration from their posts and adapted everything to suit my AU and world and built upon it. They have amazing posts on anatomy for fantasy-type beings, and I absolutely love looking through their blog, so please check them out!!!

Next, throughout this, if anyone sees plot holes, or something doesn't make sense, or has questions or suggestions, please send in an ask!! I absolutely love it when people indulge my interests!! I want to make this as realistic as it can be, while also diving into what a world where people had wings would look like. I've gone into a lot, but I know I could dive deeper, and if anyone wants to suggest anything or ask questions, I would absolutely love that!!

who are your magpie and falcon guys? they sound interesting

wow this is surprising, but I get to talk about my ocs so hooray!!

Ok so they are my ocs set in a modern world like ours BUT people have bird wings (I haven’t decided yet if everyone has wings or just a certain amount)

So magpie guy! He’s a guy with magpie wings, more specifically black-billed magpie wings. He’s a cocky and charismatic person whos whole thing is that he steals stuff like money and jewellery like a magpie! (magpies don’t actually steal shiny things but that’s part of his character). He usually pickpockets people while seducing them but he also does robberys and stuff like that. He’s a pretty selfish guy who only cares about himself and doesn’t care about others but he learns to care eventually in the story he’s set in.

now for falcon guy! He has peregrine falcon wings because 1. They were my favourite animal when I was younger and 2. They are used for falconry, which is kinda what his character is based off.

His thing is that he’s an assassin, not for money, who works kind of willingly for someone (it’s complicated). His character is supposed to be really terrifying because he hunts and brutally kills people in an animalistic predator kind of way.

Also he is hunting magpie guy, because magpie guy found something he wasn’t supposed to, so now falcon guys boss wants him dead, which actually starts the whole story that they are set in!

Holy shit one of my favourite artists asked me about my ocs what the fuck
