Freehanded and finished my first ever pokemon. Took the whole day. A joltik! (Eek. Bug. 😖 Cute bug, but still, a bug 😖) Joltik seems to have become my brother’s favourite pokemon hence why I’ve made one. My creation followed the sketch he found for me. And now, he’ll use it to torment me (but of course, why else?)

Huge bug because I used thicker yarn and a 5mm hook. Bro said “it’s supposed to be the size of a popcorn” oh isit? Well BIG POPCORN then. 😂🍿

If i had furry yellow yarn of the right colour, this may have been so much cuter 🤔 Alas…. .

Good heavens this took me FOREVER. 😭 I couldn't remember how I did the spikey spine plates! I'd undone it so many times as it wasn't turning out right!
