They were here, so Alastor figured they might as well have fun. After all, Lucifer had invited him so he would at least be civil for the night, dropping most of him picking on him( not all of it though; he had to have his own fun sometimes!). Besides, it was just one night. His eyes moved to look at the other and his outfit. He had to admit, he looked good.
When Lucifer suggested a drink before anything, he gave a short nod. He could tell the other was filled with anxious energy, the reason he wasn't sure of at the moment. The liquor he sipped on burned in the best way, answering every question or sentence he uttered, being a good date. He at least owed him that much.
His whiskey was gone, and he'd noticed Lucifer's had just been finished too; it was the best time to ask. "Would you like to dance?" He'd stood up, held out his hand, bending himself down in a bow.
By the look he was getting, Lucifer had not expected for him to ask him to dance. He was glad the mask he wore covered his mouth to hide the hint of a smile.
Once his hand was in his own, he closed his claws around it before standing up straight, gently moving him towards the many people dancing.
"Were you now?" His tone was light, teasing. "Guess I got a little impatient."
