The reason?

The imp had been setting up some pranks and traps in the tree early on until she accidentally slipped and knock ankle which resulted in her letting out a loud scream and drawing the other's attention to her.

It was honestly embarrassing how she got injured in the first place and it was made worse with how limited her movement was and the stupid vanilla cookie found her like this!
