Hi, long time no see! I hope everybody is doing well and if you're not I hope you start to feel well in time! With my activity tapering and stagnating so much these days, I figured it'd be high time to update this place proper.
After a straight year and beyond of being glued to Timeclipsed and Sonic The Hedgehog in general, I'll admit that I've become burnt out and bored of working with the same characters and scenarios. Timeclipsed is a project that I've been working with on and off for the last few years in moderation, but I've never given it this much attention before - nor had I expected it to receive so much attention! You're all wonderful and I'm very happy that my musings can inspire and bring joy!
However... I think it's high time I put it back on the shelf for a while to give it a rest. I'm just not having as much fun with it as I used to, and I'd like for it to no longer feel as if it's just an extension of someone else's AU. My characters and interpretations are mine alone, a fact I feel like I've lost somewhere along the way. The project has grown and evolved so much in this year and I can't believe where I ended up with it, so thank you all for that too! I'm definitely ready to take a break from these characters so that I can hopefully come back with renewed vigor and finally settle down to enjoy some other things! I'm not abandoning this account or AU by any means, just spending some time away from it.
A lot has happened to me in this year IRL as well and in terms of this account I've also dealt with a lot of things I'm not really comfortable fully going into detail with, mainly a slurry of bullying and death threats, which have turned me off from wanting to be here. But I find myself missing the environment of RPC Tumblr, so I've come crawling back in hopes of spending time with all my beloved mutuals again! <3
What does this mean? Well... I'm over on @caelumcorda now! I've found a new character I have tons of muse for and I'm super eager to get out there into the game and write! You might see me pop up in your following if you aren't already following first. I'll likely turn off the ask box for this account and @dreamingofeos in time and I won't be checking this account's DMs anymore, so the only way to contact me is through there or Discord.
