i was thinking about meta-fiction, & why would metatron choose gabriel to mess with cas? there were plenty of other angels he could have used, but he used gabriel. because he knew that he was the only one who had a strong enough relationship with cas. because he knew that cas would listen to his big brother, just as he had so many other times before.

fingers wrapped around the cool metal railing, flats making soft noises as she made her way QUIETLY down the stairs. whenever she was to leave the bunker, it would be in the company of either cas, dean, steve, or sam. yet, this time she had the idea  of SNEAKING OUT ON HER OWN. nobody  was home at the time, the boys off on their own MONSTER HUNTING or whatever they did. it gave her a perfect opportunity to just GET OUT THERE.

she got home at around half past eleven at night after being gone for six plus hours.  h o p e f u l l y the boys haven’t RETURNED yet, but she could never be TOO CAREFUL. cautious eyes flitted around the main room of the bunker, searching for any possibility that she was NOT ALONE. a sigh fell from her lips when she saw no evidence, yet she nearly JUMPED OUT OF HER SKIN when she saw HIM sitting on the couch.
