so, this was a human child — an actual human child of a battle woman of kamui’s army, no less ! although she was likely separated from her mother through the many hardships of war, at least she was not bound to the idea of DEEPREALMS ... uriel himself was indifferent about the subject. being given to another astral dragon &&. raised out of the eyes of his only parent — that seemed of a very good reason to leave him by himself.

but why the humans ? why would they do a thing, when he had all read of humans growing up with their children rather throwing them into another realm ... ?

Shiori had leaned down to speak to her niece, having been coaxed to, and that’s what made her the perfect target for such a VICIOUS attack.

She froze up and wanted to SCREAM but she didn’t, because she’s a good person, gods help her. Instead she just sort of, froze. Her face already trying to combat such tiny cold hands by turning the heat up to Max.

Smooches her cousin on the cheek! Twice, even, because she saw Erika do it before she wants to one-up her. "You're so pretty, Lissie!"

Laughter pours from Lissie as she feels the small kisses placed to her cheeks.  How she adores Lily, so sweet and innocent.  Arms wrapping around the small princess, she lifts her up, pressing kisses to her face and laughing before she speaks.

Of course, the princess is joking.  She loves her niece and her retainer equally.

Taking off the cabinet resting upon his back, he began to open its drawers looking for salves and vulneraries.
