June Monthly Character: Juni Pie

The month of June was not the best month for me. I started off strong and then I unfortunately had to deal with a toxic family member. I was able to finish June's redraw sketch earlier in the month but I was unable to do so for it's colored version.

The Twitter you see below is what I was able to complete this month. I'll update this post if I ever get to finish Juni's background.

Coloring Process

Since this is the first time I colored June's design I was sure to to color her. I for sure wanted her to have two tone hair. Preferably the split color hairstyle. I wanted to give her like cotton candy colored hair to fit her design theme. As a dessert fairy it was a most. Everything else fell into place as I design her new outfit for this year.

Anyway I hope you like her dessert them outfit.

a wingless fairy caught in the rain!!! most fairy wings can’t handle getting wet so  its better to stay cozy and dry indoors. maybe her wings melted off??

The Last Unicorn (1982) starters.

“Of course, mon amie!” Clopin replied with enthusiasm and a friendly smile. “That’s what friends are for, non?” Taking a pause from what was previously occupying his attention, he leaned an elbow against the closest surface and propped his head up with a gloved hand. Eyes focusing on her, he smiled. “You have my full attention now. What is it you need? Is it thrilling? Or dangerous?” He asked, a sort of mischievous excitement appearing in his dark eyes. Although, he quickly ceased his own questions to await her answer.

If he had to be honest with himself, the small human herself was the bigger mystery than the parchment she gave him. He’d have a lot to ask her when he was done translating the thing, but she did come to him with this thing first. 

“Looks like it’s part of a poem or somethin’. It’ll take me a bit ta translate it, though. Where did ya get this? It’s pretty awesome.” The time he was taking to translate was mostly due to the fact that translating ancient languages was something he was super weak with,

Injuries

“Non. Not if I have any say in the matter.” Clopin replied stubbornly. Yet he couldn’t hide the slight tremor in his voice. Previous fears that had troubled his mind about the small girl were only proven right by unkind circumstances. At times, the streets of Paris were not fit for people of normal size, much less anyone smaller than your thumb. In spite of his efforts to help her evade such a fate, she had still gotten hurt. Clopin swallowed a lump in his throat and curled a protective gloved hand around her small frame as if to shield her from any more dangers. “You’re going to be okay, mon amie.” He stated firmly as he went about doing all he could to treat her wound. However, this was a sweet lie that had left his tongue, for he was tragically not sure as to what fate would befall her in the end.
