Some time ago I kinda had the idea of trying to design what my halfling Jemima and her love interest Edan’s kids would look like, should they ever, y’know, officially get together and all. I’ve gone through multiple versions, truth be told. This one is the current designs I came up with the other day for their twins, Elah (the girl) and Alon (the boy.)
Elah’s kind of deceptively cute and sweet, with a really active and outdoorsy attitude to her. She’s the one most likely to show up with frogs or snails or random animals, and she’s always kind of trying to show off to her dad and impress him (though she’ll never admit that.)
Alon on the other hand is a little bit of a nervous wreck. His sister’s stronger than him and likes to rough house a lot, and Alon ends up with cuts and bruises because of it. He’s a lot more bookish than his sister, and prefers sitting in a nice quiet grove of trees, instead of climbing said trees like his sister. That said, I kinda like the idea of him getting some of his mother’s acrobatics and tenaciousness. Also his hair was kind of inspired by Razputin Aquato from Psychonauts, because I realized Jemima got a bit of inspiration from there too, and the look was cute.
I know it’s a wall of text but I’ve worked hard and I wanted to share. I’m doubtful they’ll be allowed to be canon at all, but -\o/- that’s what au’s are for. And if anyone wants to see earlier sketches of them, here’s a link.
