Is there anyone Iris sees as family?

Iris never wanted to get attached to anyone in NRC(or Twisted Wonderland) in the first place. But she ends up liking a lot of people there.

First and foremost Ortho. She’s kind of jealous of Idia for having him as his little brother; she loves everything Ortho does. Even when he’s being malicious. Especially when he’s being malicious. She loves it when he explains information she doesn’t know because 1) she liked reading Wikipedia pages at 2 am back in her world and 2) the way he cheerfully talks is so cute. (Also she fixes her posture when he sees her. Riddle and Vil could never make her do that)

Deuce is someone else she quickly warmed up to. She admires his resilience and spontaneity, and while she cheers him up when he’s feeling down it also reminds her to never give up and keep going. Their personalities work together well.

What is Idia's impression of Iris when they first meet?

Idia was surprised. He never thought the new student would look like this.

Iris stands out from the rest of the students, but she doesn’t really care and minds her own business. He becomes confused with her.

Which housewarden does Iris clash with the most? Who do they relate to the most, if any?

Riddle. They don’t hate each other, though. Vil would be her least favorite housewarden(she still respects him a lot and likes him, but gets uncomfortable when he’s around her). She spends the most time with Heartslabyul students so she gets to meet him a lot whether she wants it or not. Riddle “has a tendency to lash out against those who disagree with his way of thinking, as he considers his values to be morally right no matter what”. Iris is inquisitive and will question the rules, even if she has no intention to break them. She just wants to know :(

She has some things in common with Idia or maybe Malleus but she isn’t aware of that, and doesn’t relate to any of the housewardens.

9) How do others see your relationship?

No one’s surprised about it. Almost everyone just accepts these two are together.

Opinions from some NRC students below:

Grim isn’t glad about it at first. He wants Iris to be around him because she’s his henchman, but she’s always(it’s actually once a week, they don’t really hang out much in person) with the gloomy 6 feet loser who won’t stop trying to hold him… on the other hand, free snacks worth days(Iris doesn’t let him have snacks) when she’s distracted chatting about “nerd stuff” with him in his room. Honestly, Grim’s happy Iris loosens up around Idia. It benefits him of course, but he also wants her to relax for just a moment.

Ace & Deuce do not know if this is a good thing. Ace saw it coming(and makes it clear that he did) and insisted they were dating at first. He’s yet to grasp the concept of QPRs but is fine with whatever they have. Deuce? He’s just amazed that the two actually met, considering they’re both far from extroverts. But then, something about birds with similar feathers…

Riddle is ever-so-slightly vexed about them being close because both of them already frustrates him separately. He is not looking forward to Iris picking up Idia’s bad habits. He hopes her good behavior rubs off on Idia and not the other way around.

Ortho loves it! He’s so glad that his older brother finally has someone that he consistently socializes with besides his online friends and the few dozen characters with questionable designs from otome games he downloaded, he’s not judging Idia but hoo boy but also, he likes Iris. He likes that Idia & Iris spend time together, just enjoying the present.

Rook is an enthusiast of all kinds of novel relationships, including ones that don’t seem to fit in only one category. He is very supportive and becomes 20% more poetic(yes, it is possible) when he spots the two which makes them cringe. He doesn’t try to define or figure out their relationship like other nosy people *cough* Cater, Jade, & Ace *cough* do and simply appreciates it as it is.

Yes.

Iris reaches out to Idia first, but between Iris & Idia he’s actually the more expressive one. He snickers and mutters and rants about something(or someone) around her, because he knows she would never shame him for doing so, and she’ll open up to him as well. She’s just another human after all.

He’s probably the only person to witness this side of her that she never shows to anyone else and he’s quite proud of it.
