the Neprfam!

i wanted to make a birth family for Sigyn, since she doesnt have one in canon, so i cobbled together some unrelated minor gods. Very little of this is canon. However, I also wanted them to look distinct enough that it could be either. Most of them, especially the women, don't have defined family beyond their spouses and kids, and I wanted to put them all somewhere. There are more in the family that aren't drawn, so I'm going to draw them and rearrange the family sometime soon.

left to right, Nepr, Gna, Itreksjod, Nanna, Ran, Aegir, Sigyn, Meili, Idis, Forseti. Aegir is the only in-law in this picture, all of the others are direct decendants of Nepr and Gna, the parents. For clarity, here's the family tree.

the wonderful thing about modern au Rohan fam is that it offers the opportunity for a universe in which everyone comes out. Théodred awkwardly mentions that he likes guys ("But you're still gonna adopt right?" "That's another thing, Dad, I don't want kids ..."), although he doesn't even try to explain the whole ace thing, none of them will get it (Aunt Gildis would get it, but he doesn't know that). Idis makes a big announcement that she likes girls at the annual family gathering on the logic that "It'll get the news out more efficiently and I can field all questions at once". Éowyn doesn't think it's anyone's business until she admits that she is a) going to formal with a girl and b) said girl is her girlfriend of three months. At which point everyone pivots to Éomer with very clear 'anything you wanna say, buddy?' expressions on their faces. and he just has to shrug and be like 'i like girls'. So I guess he has to come out too. just as straight.
